#BreakTheBias - Should All Women Want Children?
Well first and foremost let me start by saying: Happy International Women’s Day!
This year’s theme is: Break the Bias and it asks us to Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Isn’t that beautiful? So in the spirit of breaking the bias, and in a way celebrating a women’s success, we discuss whether all women should want children and explore the option of those that may not.

Big Boys Don’t Cry
“Traditionally, men were seen as being weak or unmanly in some way if they expressed themselves through crying,” So linking this back, When I see my male friends, colleagues, and family members suppressing their feelings, hiding tears and shutting off their emotions for the fear of being called “girly” I realize how flawed our cultural upbringing has been.

What does success mean in a modern world?
Sometimes in asian families the pressure to meet cultural familial and societal expectations are intense. Doing your own thing can be seen as betrayal. This contrast of individual agency and choice can make it hard to honour your needs and wants in life. This idea of ‘chasing your dreams’ or following your passion sounds great but often in reality is just frustrating. I’m joined by Blogger Saloni Miglani to discuss what chasing your dreams actually mean.
